Civilized Holocaust

Consume the dream.

Apathy is what you are feeling, covering it with ribbons of numbness

Brought forth by chemicals of self selection.
Underdeveloped sense of purpose
All you can do is

Duck, dismiss, cover and hide
This is your decision
Duck, dismiss, cover and hide
It is now the time to
consume the dream

Tough times in a speeding train
heading in our direction
Apathy is what you are feeling
Time to turn an eye that’s blind

But first, my chemicals
No self reflection
Underweight shriveled purpose
All you can do is

Duck, dismiss, cover and hide
This is your decision
duck, dismiss, cover and hide
Now restart the circle
-consume the dream

Lying to friends, caught in a nest….of regret

A cruel joke, roadblocking, irony showing its teeth
The smooth smoke, covering, drawn back feigning prestige

A cruel joke, stonewalling, irony showing its teeth
The smooth smoke, enveloping, drawn back feigning prestige

Caught in the trap.
